There are four kinds of people, those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, those who wonder what happened, and those who don’t know what happened. Our Acharya- Dr. M.R Rajesh belongs to the first category. That was how KVRF was born. It was his brain child, and it developed and expanded just like his own child. Acharya started KVRF with a sole aim of enlightening people of the Vedic culture. An ardent follower of Swami Dayanand, he felt the need to teach Vedas irrespective of caste, creed, sex or class.

Acharya was born in an Orthodox Brahmin family. After completing his masters degree in English and Politics, he studied the 4 Vedas in the ancient Vedic system of education known as Gurukul. His parents were against his study of the Vedas and he had to sacrifice and suffer a lot to make both ends meet. It was agony and ecstasy in the early years. Agony that he had to go against his parents wishes and ecstasy that he was going to fulfill his dream .Acharya had to face strong opposition from his community also .His community ostracized him as he was teaching the Vedas to the “lesser mortals” . He broke with tradition and defied convention and taught vedas to all and sundry .All have equal access to him and he has shared a common platform with all, including muslims and others .Acharya had firm faith in the future and had the ability to accept any change and was prepared for any challenges. Acharya didn’t deter from his path-strong determination to learn Vedas, helped in accomplish his dream which took shape in the form of KVRF at Balussery.

Acharya has an unmatched oratorical expertise and masterly grip of Vedas, his talks are direct, vibrant, and to the point, his mesmerizing, eloquence and erudition stands firm against all odd and offers solace to all those who have lost their way in darkness and ignorance. Currently he is working as a subeditor in the Malayalam daily “MATHRUBHUMI”. Acharya has authored many books and has shown his calibre in that field
