or creed as the light and water are the birth right of any human being. Absorbing this thought in mind Dr. M.R.Rajesh founded the Kasyapa Veda Patasala in Balusseri, near Kozhikode, which opened opportunity to thousands of ordinary people to study Veda and to propagate what they studied. Thousands of people are benifited from these classes. Twilight prayers with the Vedic manthras along with Sankhatana sooktham from Rig Veda, and Purusha sooktham, Medha sooktham, Saraswathi sooktham etc. from Yajur Veda are being taught besides the ancient Agnihothra homa and Shodasha kriya. All the manthras are taught with proper diction and the meaning clearly explained. Upanishads are also taught along with this.
A number of booklets and books are being published by the Trust to annunciate the Vedic culture, most of which are distributed free or charging a nominal price. Classes in two batches are held at Kozhikode at 7.30 in the morning on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at the Veda Patasala hall in Balussery. There is neither any basic educational qualification, gender distinction nor any age restriction stipulated to join these classes. Classes are also being conducted at Vatakara on all Saturdays at. 5.30 p.m.
In order to reach out the Vedic ideals and principles to the commonest among the common man Dr. Rajesh is being helped by youngsters like Ravi Mangad,P.K Rajagopal and P.K.Naveen who are rendering their heart and soul to this venture. Inspite of all these, Veda Patasala running a Gurukula Hridayavidhyalaya, special Secret Meditation program etc.
